Saturday, April 5: Race Day
5:30 am - 6:15 am: Packet pickup/Late Registration
6:30 am: Participant Race Brief
7:00 am: Race starts. Participants will start in groups
of 4 individuals and 4 teams every 10 minutes.
11:30 am: Run Cut-off time: participants who haven't started
the last run will not be allowed to enter the run course.
12:00 pm: Race concludes/presentation of awards.
Participants can compete individually, or in teams of four. Waves
of four teams and four individuals will start approximately every
10 minutes, and start time will be on a first come, first served
basis according to registration date.
Run/Swim
The run and swim distances are the same for both categories. For
team entries, each participant must complete the full length of
the run events and the swim (i.e. each member must swim 800m) The
swim will be completed in Walter E Long Lake between two calisthenic
events. Each team or individual will be allowed to bring one bag
into the transition area in which they can keep towels, snacks,
body glide, or anything else they might need during the competition.
Calisthenics
Stationary events will be completed in a transition area near the
start/finish line. Calisthenic events need not be divided evenly
between team members. It is up to the discretion of the team to
divide the events up in a manner that is most effective for that
team. Proper pull-up, push-up, and sit-up form will be required.
A video has been provided to demonstrate the proper methods of these
calisthenics, and the link can be found below.
